Anak K. Shrestha, M.D. MPH

Dr. Shrestha has joined The Rocky Mountain Eye Center as of August 2008.

Dr. Shrestha is a graduate of The George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. He completed a year of internal medicine internship at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. He received his training in ophthalmology at the University of Arizona, Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences, where he served as Chief Resident during his last year of training.

Dr. Shrestha is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Prior to his medical training, Dr. Shrestha received a Masters in Public Health from the University of Arizona. His professional experience also includes several years of scientific research before starting his medical career. His interests outside of ophthalmology include outdoor activities, water color painting and cooking.

Locations: Dr. Shrestha is seeing patients at the Montebello office in Pueblo and at the Canon City office.

Services: Dr. Shrestha provides the following eye care: comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye exams, minor office surgeries, cataract surgery, blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery, injections and laser treatments for various eye diseases.
