Education:
Dr. Schlomer served in the US Army and was Chief of Ophthalmology services at the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.
He was a recipient of the Meritorious Service and Army Commendation Medals. Dr. Schlomer has practiced in Pueblo since 1985.
He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Pueblo and Colorado Medical Societies.
He specializes in comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat multiple eye disorders. These include cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye irritation, diabetes, infections, macular degeneration, and all other vision problems. He sees patients of all ages to help them maintain healthy vision and prevent and treat eye diseases.
